I am leery of partisan loyalty at the expense of the American people. Elected officials do not serve the people. They serve their parties. I am for anyone who can figure out how to get rid of this ridiculous national debt. Bring the troops back. Assure decent wages, health care, education and safety. I am for whoever is devoted to the American people.

The Republicans have had a good run (8 years), thet tried some things and failed. It is time for new leadership with a different approach. If you keep throwing the ball down the bowling alley and you keep getting gutters, eventually you will change your position to see if that works.

I hope not. Could you imagine Nancy Pelosi as the Speaker? Now that would be scary. I think the Republicans barely hold on in both Houses.

This is a terrible time for the Democrats to come into power. This country is about to come into an economic crash and burn era. If they take power now, they will be blamed for the terrible economy and terrible national security status.

Well, I would like to see some seats change, however; the Democrats having a majority gives me the shivers. I know my paycheck will get lighter, and things will cost me more.
