Benadryl and make sure he is not having trouble breathing because then you need to take him to the emergency clinic right away... bring the benadryl incase it gets bad and tell them you gave it if you did. you should give it to him right away! He is having an pretty serious allergic reaction to the bite!

Benedryl is a very good med for hives or other allergic reactions. Calamine lotion is also a good topical medication. be sure that if the reaction continues for more than 48 hours that you take your son to see a physician

Give him benedryl and then an aveeno bath if you don't have that then put some calamine lotion on it. Keep an eye & an ear on his breathing. He may be really allergic and you may have to call his dr. or take him to an Emergency room. Hope He is ok.

I suggest the following: benadryl, calamine lotion, aveno baths... giving him a stuffed animal to scratch in lieu of his skin.

i get the same. if he has any trouble breathing or it doesn't go away in a day or two then take him to the hospital. they may need to give him prednisone. otherwise benadryl should help.
