My friends were married for 10 yrs, with 2 kids. Suddenly she stated she wasn't happy, and served him with divorce papers, moves out, looses weight, but still comes to family functions with her inlaws, She left him the house, kids 90% of the time, and he has more money now than he did while married He's such a hard worker and gave her anything she wanted, she had it made. What is her problem.

the inlaws hate her and don't want her coming around, and she doesn't have time for her own kids anymore. She just caught everyone off guard including him.

Sounds like she is going through a mid life crisis and is thinking she is missing out on life. The grass is always greener on the other side syndrome. She has given up everthing including her children so she can have the freedom to pursue her selfish needs and wants.
Once she gets this out of her system and realizes it isn't always greener on the other side, she will long for the good old days and her family but it will be too late.
Just my thoughts.

A lot of times people see a different picture then what is going on behind closed doors. I'm sure she just didn't wake up and decide she wanted a divorce. Other things must have been going on to make her decide to get a divorce. Like she probably hasn't been happy for a long time in her marriage. But don't be so quick to think that just because her husband bought her everything she wanted meant he was the perfect husband cause the problem might have been something to do with him.

Money is not everything! Obviously you friend wasn't happy. Things that look good on the outside feels like sh** on the inside. So he probaly was all that good of a man, and if she still has a good relationship with her inlaws she was a good woman.

Mid life crisis perhaps? Maybe got married too young? It could be a whole host of things that you aren't aware of that happen behind closed doors. Sometimes us women do stupid things and yes, I divorced my ex for another man. We are still together and its been a long and hard 7 years and sometimes I wonder what I got myself into.

my guess is yes... she finally encountered the man she was really ment to be with and she was just settle-ing before with her husband. She probably thought that she was happy and that she was suppose to be doing what she was doing and then BAM! Mr. REALLY RIGHT comes crashing in her life and now she is oblivious to everything.

All those goodies sounds great but what appears on the out side, is never whats on the inside. You cannot be critical...you would have to walk in her shoes first.

yep , to leave everything behind she probley did...most do when they have reason enough to leave. and why would anyone leave thier kids behind?
