Ok the guy I like is a grade above me!! Plus he's like the most popular guy. He's on the football team and other girls like him. Does this really matter? If it does can you help me out here?

It's definitely is harder to make an impression on some guy who is king of the campus and has a bunch of girls following him around. But the main difference is in your own head. Those other girls don't have anything you don't have. You need to believe that you are just as good as any of the other girls who adore this guy. Hold your head high, stand straight and smile and say hi whenever you see him. Don't get giggly with your friends when he's around. You have to play it cool, that way he will make the effort to get to know you. All guys like a bit of a challenge, and with all of those other girls he doesn't have much of one. Just remember, even if he doesn't start to like you in "that way" this competition was stiff to begin with. It's no reflection on you. Get on with the next guy. Don't dwell on this one until your senior year.

the fact that hes popular your worried about?... then no that shouldnt be a problem, its kinda cute if u date an older guy in a grade higher than you, are you guys friends? if not you can you can try talking to him and plan a day to hang out..go see a movie or something. Well newayz good luck!

Gurly Girl, its nice to have a crush on a popular guy, but being young, enjoy your life, don't worry with guys they will come and go. You should keep yourself indisposed and unavailable. You will get hurt when you become attached to someone. Love if you dare! Trust that love is rare and lust is common! Also, learn from your mistakes and you cant go wrong!

the only thing that should matter is if he likes you too. If he doesn't I'd say move on for now. But if he does no problem. Let the other girls be green with envy.

it really doesn't matter... my boyfriend is a senior and i'm a junior... age doesn't matter unless it's like a craaaazy difference... like one person is fifteen and the other is forty.... ew.
