ohkay, so i met this guy because i used to date his best friend, and we started talking. this was 4 yrs ago. he was in love with me after me and his friend broke up but i turned him down. if you want to know the truth i turned him down because i knew it would work out and i wasnt ready to "settle down".. ive dated other ppl and same with him. but we both know we get jealous when the other tells a story about hanging out with a new boyfriend.girlfriend.. now, we;re both single and very close. we tell eachother we love eachother everyday and we had a very first kiss 2 wks ago. we've done more since then,but not all the way,, you know? i dont know what to do? i dont know if his feelings are real or not. is he just trying to friends w/ benifits? what should i tell him? HELPP!!!

I was in a similar situation with my best guy friend...well, we are now dating and extremely happy!! If he already asked you out, AND continued to stay close with you even after you turned him down...I really don't think he going the friends with benefits route. It sounds like his feelings are for real, especially if he says he loves you, he probably means it! If you don't feel comfortable coming right out and telling him how you feel...just hint at it. Maybe he is afraid of rejection again. Next time the two of you have an "intimate" moment, try saying something such as "the biggest mistake I ever made was turning you down. if I had to do it over again...I wouldn't make the same mistake twice." yeah, its a little cheesy...but I think he would definitely take the hint!

well the relationships start out as friends if you respect each other lay it all on the table talk about what you both want out of your relationship if it isn't the same at least you will still have the friendship without having slept together

ya so you should prolly talk to him about it...from expierence i no that guys will NEVER get it unless you tell them exactly what you mean and dont beat around the bush...as for what to tell him you should prolly tell him how you feel about the matter and what you are or are not ok with...just be honest...if yall are really that close he'll understand and appreciate your honesty.

maybe you should be talking to him instead of us....... i can tell that if he is willingly waited 4 years then most likely his feelings are real but to be perfectly honest none of the people on here are gonna know just him.......... but good luck i hope it works out for you..........
