When you meet someone sickly sweet do you think they truely are, or are hiding something? (It is my experience, they are usually the later.)

Yeah you see those people coming a mile away and you just know something is going on. Nothing wrong with being nice, but going over the top will send out warning signals.

I don't think they're always hiding something. There is such a thing as a person who is just sweet by nature. Some people may find such a natural tendency to be sweet and nice as hard to believe, but it isn't very rare at all.

People have a tendency to use themselves to measure everyone else. If they're x-amount cautious they see people who are less caution than that x amount as careless and people with more than that x amount as neurotic. They do the same thing with sweetness. Again, its entirely possible for there to be plenty of people sweeter than someone else on the "sweet scale" - but that doesn't mean they're hiding something.

Sleeziness/deceitfulness comes in people all along the "sweetness scale". Maybe you just notice it more when it shows up in someone who happened to be at the high end of that "scale".

well, thats the advantage of being a woman. get sweet if u want something. its not called conniving.. its just a way to get something rather than be mean or normal and get nothing.

well, woman.. use ur power to get what u want!

They are as phony as a $3. And they have an ulterior motive to be sure.
