What she is referring to is called an episiotomy. It's a common procedure during childbirth that allows the doctor to make a clean cut that is easily repaired with stitches later instead of a tear that is difficult to stitch up later.
As to your other question, the stitches will not show. They dissolve or are internal. Everything else goes back to normal within 4-6 weeks most women are able to resume their sex lives. Women's bodies are made to give birth & the vagina is stretchy & muscular allowing a baby to pass through and then returning to normal. Especially if it's been 5 years. If she had not told you she had a baby, you would not be able to know.
Thanks for asking & Have fun :)

The procedure she had done during childbirth is called an Episiotomy. It's a surgical slice between the vagina and anus to prevent tearing of the vagina when the baby comes out or when the baby's head is to big. It is stitched w/ disolvable stitches and heals up in about 5 days. There is no mutilation or noticeable change to the area. The vagina is back to normal and can conform to accept the size of whatever goes in or comes out of there next ( babies, penises, etc.) So don't worry and take a look at it, investigate and discover the wonders of the VAGINA.

The female body does go back to normal after having the first baby, from the 2nd onwards it is never the same for good and bad reasons. all women are different so she may have noticed it's changed but you wouldn't know unless she told you. If she does pelvic floor exercises they will help maintain a healthy perky vagina if that's want your wanting but It's just like a room full of males, their all gonna be different sizes in penis length aren't they? Don't be too judgemental of her, unless you were in the room with her when she gave birth you'd understand better but it's nice your concerned, I think.

The snipping as you call it is really called an apiesiotomy. My spelling may be off here. But this is what it is called. What this is is when they cut the piece of skin fromthe opening of the vaginia to the opening of the rectum. Women have to have this done because if they do not have this skin cut, it could rip into the rectum and cause all kinds of problems. I do not believe that this skin even has anything to do with the tightness of her vagina since it has no muscle in it. It is merely a connective tissue not sexual organ.

no it will not be stretched out if she does keagels..........being if it were 5 yrs ago she should be back to normal ...she may have more sensitivity. it will look a little different yes considering she had an episiotomy you may see a little scaring and in the labia part it will be darker. At any rate i am sure it will be a wonderful experience for the two of you. good luck and it doesnt hurt to ask these things...we dont take offense

Its pretty normal to wonder. I have had an episiotomy and had lots of questions myself!
I would consider I am back to "normal" now. I have lost a bit of feeling down there - but that is no concern for men lol

She probably got stitched up, and everything goes back to normal. Common occurrence. Nothing to worry about.

Who cares. King Ramses had 200 children with many women. Do you think he cared?
