Why cant I do a system restore on my laptop?

Generally, your computer will create system restore points periodically - unless you have that option turned off in your computer setup. And you can also go in and create system restore points even if you have the automatic setting off. If you have restore points the dates they were created should be bold and you click on them to restore to that date. If you do not have any bold dates to click on - then you have no system restore dates available and you should contact your computer company to see what you can further do about it. Good luck.

You can. Unless your laptop is so new there has not been a restore point set yet.
