2 large eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon

1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2. Mix butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly in a large bowl.
3. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in a seperate bowl.
4. Blend dry ingredients into butter mixture.
5. Chill dough, and chill an ungreased cookie sheet for about 10-15 minutes in the fridge.
6. Meanwhile, mix 3 tablespoons sugar, and 3 teaspoons cinnamon in a small bowl.
7. Scoop 1 inch globs of dough into the sugar/ cinnamon mixture.
8. Coat by gently rolling balls of dough in the sugar mixture.
9. Place on chilled ungreased cookie sheet, and bake 10 minutes.
10. Remove from pan immediatley.

In a large bowl, combine the ingredients with a whisk. Store the cookie mix in an airtight container or jar. Attach this recipe to the jar:
Snickerdoodles
1 cup butter or margarine, softened 2 eggs 1 package Snickerdoodle Mix 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large mixing bowl with electric mixer, cream butter until light; add the eggs and beat on low speed until the mixture is smooth and well blended. Add the Snickerdoodle Mix and continue to beat on low speed until the dough begins to form. Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls; roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Arrange on ungreased baking sheets 2 inches apart and bake for 16 to 19 minutes, or until light tan. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, soda, salt and cream of tartar. Add sifted ingredients to creamed mixture; stir until well blended. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place snickerdoodles 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheets.
Bake snickerdoodles at 400° for 6 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool. Makes about 4 dozen snickerdoodles.

Betty Crocker has a good one, but I'm not going to type it all in!!
You can buy sugar cookie dough at the store and just roll it in a cinnamon and sugar mix. Easy as pie!
Or you can stop by the New French Meadow Bakery in Minneapolis. Best snickerdoodles ever.
