Do men want to feel needed, or do they seek a challenge?

I know not all guys want the same thing but for the most part do they prefer a challenge or do they want to feel needed by a woman?

Some men have to feel needed to exist. They are nurturers but that may not be such a good thing as it depends on their technique of nurturing. I think it is challenging for men who want to feel needed as they have to constantly make sure they are in charge and taking care of the family.

First of all, not all guys want the same thing. There are those of us who do infact prefer absitnence until marriage and a monogomus serious relationship. As far as a relationship goes there's always that want/need to feel appriciated, unless you're a masicist at which point you're more interested in being treated like a door mat to cleets. But in any case, as far as the guys I know, 9 out of 10 do want to feel needed in the sense that they can be protectors and providers. If they don't feel as though they can contribute to the relationship as far as the soicoligical definition says that they should they can easily become scarred off to a new relatioship or fall out of something long term. The need to feel needed is human, not male or female. And it's not restricted to courting relationships, kids wanted to be needed by their parents and vice versa. So yeah, I'd say that most people in general want to feel needed.

Most men want to feel needed. This was last year's Thanksgiving discussion at our house and ALL the men there agreed that men have to be needed to feel good.
