When something happens and we are unable to see a simple cause for it - that is, when the known causes do not seem to explain a happening, we begin to look for wider causes, deeper causes and greater causes.
When we find that such unexplained happenings are the majority and moreover, often opposite of what known causes should have done (e.g., if a noble and good person is suffering), then our logic ends and belief begins.
Both the concepts of God and Karma are the product of our such belief in the absence of our ability to justify events through our logical assumption of cause and effect. When we can not ascertain the cause, it is either God's will or Karma of a previous state of being that our soul has gone through and does not remember.
It is ridiculous to call the belief in Karma as more logical than the belief in God. The concept of Karma merely extends the time frame for cause and effect and tries to explain away unknown causes or inverse causes through an assumed unknown past beyond this life.
Is it not possible for us to simply accept that causes known to us are so few and discrete that we have no capability to explain all happenings? We can not but accept them as they take place.
We are s..o minuscule in this vast and varied universe that we need to keep ourselves confined to just our boundaries. Neither logic nor imagination can truly enable us beyond our limitations. Wisdom is called for to accept the reality.

The simple proof of Karma going round is you may want to do many things but you do only what is destined to you by your own karma of the past. In a horoscope of a person both these are indicated. The wanting to do can be read from Karakamsa ascendant and destined to by Aroodha ascendant

Just go on doing your prescribed duties with all your effort and sincerity thinking yourself as an employee in the kingdom of God. He can see every one because He is every where like the wind or sky. Actually He is the giver of results. He gives better life for such persons because doing duty amounts to doing the best possible service to this society which is struggling day and night by employing numerous beings and using things to fulfil all your needs.

God created the law of karma or cause and effect for spiritually "dead" people to keep them from going to far astray and always guide them back to his will. Karma acts as an instrument of GODS will.

Cause and effect makes more sense to me than a big daddy in the sky who is dishing out punishment on his children who are not very good at learning the rules. Especially the burning in hell part! That's really mean! What loving father would do that? An insane one.

Yes the cause and effect does happen. What goes around comes around. But the residual effect of it happens due to our choice. We choose to resist, and it again comes around. We accept , and it affects us to a very minimum, leaving almost no residue. The ability to reduce the residual effect is where the Godliness(or what ever name we call it), in a person matters !

today's what ever or how ever we are that is because of our good or bad karma. well, then why god? god can definitely help in reducing the effect of bad karma or increasing the effect of good karma if we pray him with devotion .
