Sometimes you can have a period out of the blue due to several outside reasons, i.e. stress. Have you been under stress? And how long have you been taking the pill? Sometimes a change in medication can cause it, too.

How long have you been on this particular pill? Sometimes the hormonal change caused by the pill results in extra bleeds for one or two days in between real periods. This might mean you are due to change pills, go for a different dosage of hormones. Talk to you Ob\Gyn, or your family physician.

Go see your doc! If your taking the pill everyday on the same hour you shouldn't have any problems. Yet if its not everyday same time then consider going to the patch. I switch arms every week ... cant wear them anywhere else, body's to curved! But go to your doc asap!
