Hell yes.
If you get points for yardage and TD's a running back is almost always more valuable than a TE - Minnesota is running that offense through Taylor, and they have the best offensive line that money can buy. Taylor is only going to get better as the year goes on (barring injury)

I think this is a good time to buy low on Chester Taylor. He is getting tons of carries. Minnesota has played some tough defenses, and has stuck to the run. Taylor should have some very favorable matchups coming in the middle of the season.
I am also very high on Gates now though as well. After seeing the past 2 SD games, it is obvious that Rivers is going to use him as much or more than what Brees did. This is fantastic news for Gates, since his stock has been pretty low the beginning of the season as they slowly worked Rivers into the offense. With SD now clicking on all cylinders, Gates' should be a hot commodity.
If you are hurting for a RB, Chester Taylor is a pretty good option, but I wouldnt be suprised if you could get a little more for Gates.

Yes make that trade, if you can get a Chester Taylor for Gates(who by his standards is having a "down" year) you must do this. Taylor's schedule is so easy that I could run for 100yards almost every game. Make this trade!!

no way. I got chester taylor on my team and he is just taking up a roster spot. He barely gives u any points. Colston is worth much more.

gates will be more productive as the season goes on.young qb's stick to what works plus bolts will put up their fair share of points.running backs are more of a team thing than a commodity.with a few exceptions....barry sanders ,,brian westbrook etc......rb's tend to go as the team goes. look at denver. ill take their rb's next year and 10 years from now no matter who it is.fantasy leagues arent won at this position rather the commodity points that gates will give you over the colstons out there.

No...Taylor isnt worth it...he only has 1 TD and he just isnt that great of a back. They do run a lot with him but he just isnt that great of a fantasy back. Gates is a much better fantasy player, trade him for someone else worth it...

Nope. You can get a lot better. At least try for a Warrick Dunn type. Gates is the best TE...
