Detroit has a great chance to win it all. They have great starting pitching and a great bullpen. They play great defense and can hit the ball with the best of them. But they will ahve there hands full when they go up against the Mets.

Beachdiva needs to evaluate teams better. Detroit will win the world series in either a sweep or in 5 games. Neither NL team stands a chance. The Mets have NO pitching outside of Glavine and he cannot pitch every single game for them. As far as the Cardinals go, they have really no pitching either and that includes their bullpen and the Tigers have proven they can stop a lineup that is suppose to be the best ever created in the Yankees. No lineup stands a chance in a series against the pitching the Tigers have.

Anyone but them damn Yankees. I have detroit and the Mets as my favorites for the World Series. Unfortunately, I chose the mets to win the whole thing this year. A little nervous now with the injuries to their pitchers. But like I've been saying. If you can quiet the Cardinal bats, you can beat them, because they din't have great pitching. But again the Tigers coming out of nowhere and sweeping the As. now that was sweet. But beatin' down the Yankees. Now that was Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat

I think the Tigers want the Mets and Cardinals to go 7, for Glavine's arm to be dangling by crazy glue and for Carpenter to need a chiropractor by the time a bruised and battered winner staggers out to face the well-rested Tigers in about a week.
