i live in hawaii on the island of oahu--we felt the quake this morning we are ok over here but we didnt have electric for 8 hours-and there are still places without electricity------that was scary

We were woken up by it too, we live right next to Schofield Barracks, and we were without electricity for about 8 or 9 hours. It was interesting, but I wouldn't want to go through it again!

I heard a dude from hawaii call into Matt Drudge and he said his power never went out and he's had internet and phone the whole time also. He said some minor stuff broke inside the house.

Yeah I heard about it, I live in California and I am scard because California could be next. If the plates moved over there its only a matter of time they move over here. Hope every thing is safe for you over there.

No, I didn't hear about it until now. Where I live we don't have earthquakes. I can't imagine what that would feel like. Glad you're okay.

I heard about it and hope that everyone is safe
that why i don't like to visit their because of something like this and iam not use to earthquake, tornado ,flood and etc.
