Unfortunately no. Many years ago, they were angry because, when staying at our house, they found it too cold, so instead of staying the weekend, they left and have never called us since then! Hard to believe, but true. They both obviously have huge issues to deal with in their lives.
Know, I have a daughter-in-law that despite treating her like the princess she wants to be, she still complains bitterly about me. She hates my hair, my clothes, I'm not rich enough for her..etc..

So, my experience with in-laws have not been good at all.

My in-laws are from the KY/WV mountains... I am the only one from the city... I would rather be in their company than with anyone else.
Let me tell you about my two brother-in-laws...
The first one has 8 brothers and two sisters...
The other one just has brothers... 11 of them!
I grew up in the ghetto/ projects... 1 brother and 1 sister...
The big family stuff is for me, but it's fun to party with these guys...
10 yrs with these b@stards and I just got my first invite to a NASCAR race!

My father in law is 94 years old. He is very feeble now but his mind is still very sharp. I have a tremendous respect for the man. He has been very good to me for over 42 years.

Thought I did at one time but now that my wife is gone I don't consider that I have any in-laws any more.

It's much easier to deal with them now that his parents are deceased. His siblings are Wacky, Zany and Grouchy (three of the dwarfs that were so twisted, they took them out of the story. No, really it was supposed to be Snow White and the Ten Dwarfs)
