Can you play MP4s on a MP3 Player?

I have a Creative Zen mp3 player and when i first got it, i was able to put MP4's onto it (cd's i uploaded onto my computer). Now when i try it doesnt work... anyone know why?

What you can do is just burn the songs onto a CD and reimport them as MP3.

You may have to reset your player. The firmware can be corrupted. You can also try to upgrade to the latest firmware.
