Let's see: one trillion seconds is 10^12 seconds, so

(10^12 seconds)(1 hr/3600 sec)(1 day/24 hr)(1 year/365 days) equals 31,709.79 years. A long, long time.

Well, are you assuming that it takes you one second to say "one" and one second to say "three hundred fifty four billion, eight hundred ninety seven million, seven hundred forthy nine thousand, two hundred thirty one" ? :-)

Wouldn't you have to assume that the closer to 1 trillion you get, that it will take you longer to say each number in the series?
