I currently have a 95 accord, I have already put alot into this car (stereo, tune ups, ect). It has a few dents and dings, and needs a little body work ( somone hit my fender, small baseball sized dent) It wouldnt cost more than a few hundred to fix up the body..

Or should I save up and get a new-ish car (2002-2007ish) ??

If it has no mechanical problems and you can afford to make a car payment to yourself just put 3 or 4 hundred in the bank every month. This way, if you keep driving the Honda and it does croak on you you'll have the cushion to get a newer car or atleast put a down payment on one, all while getting the most you can out of the car you have.

Cars are a depreciable item, don't put any money in it, keep driving it right into the ground. Then when it is time to get a new car, don't buy a new car, but a used car a few years old, let the new car purchaser take the big depreciation hit on a new vehicle. Who really cares if your car has a dent in it, don't be so self concious. Also, drop the collision and comprehensive insurance on it if you have that, it is too old a car to insure.

It depends on what's worth it to you, do you like the look of the 95 Accord? Personally I've taken bowel movements that I could have sworn had a close resemblence to the 95 accord.

A decent respect to prudence and the laws of thermodynamics should tell you to get a newer car, but it's by no means expensive to keep it going unless you get in a few crashes, so if you like the car, keep it, if you don't have any feelings for it, get something else.

You didn't mention how many miles, but, if you have time, go and test drive awhile check out some possobilities. I got a good on a used car, one tear old from a budget car lot. It had 25,000 on it but was well maintained and a lot cheaper than the brand new version. Just take your time and don't hurry .Ask yourself also, how much will you have to spend on a newer car if it needs a new stereo.
