Yes, you can live. Can you function normally, no. You have to have some type of support. It must be artificial or natural, but you have to have some support. The other option is to live on a machine or live as an invalid.

well if you're talking about your whole ribs, then no - like everyone said.. they support your lungs and other organs. But I've heard that you can take out some parts of your ribs and still live (i said that i HEARD it, I'm not saying it's true), and that some people do it so that it can make them thinner

No you can't because your organs (lungs...) wouldnt have anything that could protect them so u would have to really be careful not get hit where your ribs should be if not... X(

no, u could but ur organs may fall, ur organs are attached to ur ribs with fibers so if no where to attach to ur screwed. if u do want to live u have to live on a machine that will keep ur organs working, and u have to alwasy stay still to keep ur organs in place
, u might be able to get surgery to keep them from falling, but it would be a bad life
