i'm talking about my father and a mutual neighbor of my parents has gotten to know us all. the neighbor lady and my father seem to joke alot. she often criticizes my mother. i live outside their neighborhood but tonight my mother is out of town my dad decided to stay at her place even after I left. not sure if their flirtatious nature will go a step further. she has been known to have relations with married men. my mother is very innocent by nature and has never expressed concern about how they often joke with one another. my father plays it off innocently enough. should I say something to him? or to my mom about what I see? confused and frustrated and not sure if I'm over reacting to an ongoing situation

as long as you are honest with your wife about it, also dont do anything or talk about anything with your nieghbor that you couldnt do or talk about in front of your wife cause at that point the relationship might be getting a little too close

I think you should talk to your father first. I think it's totally wrong for a married man to hang out with any woman alone that is not his wife. Even if it is innocent it could eventually lead to other things and cause major problems later. We all have issues in our marriage at one time or another and if he has a close relationship with another woman, she might be the one he runs to for comfort and that is playing with fire. Let your dad know that he needs to show your mom more respect than that, especially since it seems together they have raised a pretty good person. Good luck I hope he takes it well. Don't get your mom invovled yet. Give your dad a chance to resolve the issue.

Most totally inappropriate. Tell your dad first, loud and clear. Married men DO NOT stay overnight with anyone. They have a home.

I think it is. It would be one thing if it was just small talk but hanging out with her is going way to far. I would talk to him and tell him hey it is either me or her choose one.
