You can't buy them at train stations. Get them online or from a travel agent. Make sure you go to the train station when you get then and get it stamped though.

once you purchase a rail bypass, you may shuttle unfastened in basic terms in the interior sight or Intercity trains that are very sluggish in comparison to ESI (Eurostar Italia). If ESI travels in a million hour, different practice travels in 2 - 3 hours. yet expenditures are somewhat extra low priced on different trains. in case you purchase a bypass and prefer to shuttle in ESI, you ought to pay Euro 10 as reservation fare every time you shuttle by using the practice. As you're there for 4 days in basic terms and the cities at the instant are not very a ways away, i don't propose you to purchase a bypass. you may in basic terms get a fee ticket from the sales area of the merchandising gadget. in case you at the instant are not in a hurry, do not take ESI that's costly. Ofcourse, you may come to a call by using seeing the fee in merchandising gadget.

I suggest you buy your rail pass at STA travel since you get it on the spot as opposed to waiting for it to be shipped or having to buy it in foreign country where language could be an issue.

I was always told that you could not/should not buy the pass in Europe, but should get it before leaving the US.

"Advance Booking:
Please apply for your passes and other tickets at least 7 days prior to your departure from North America. REG will always try to help if less notice is given, but REG is not responsible for delays in delivery service or otherwise. If a product is ordered at short notice, REG will charge an additional fee for overnight delivery service. When ordering, please include your date of departure from North America. "

Definitely buy before going over.

Eurail tix are intended for non-Europeans; they tend to be unavailable in Europe itself.
