I only tip if it is not the owner doing the work. Anywhere from 10 to 25% depending on the cost of the job.

Honey: The only people who are to receive any tip are waiters and bell boys at hotels. All others do not get any tips. You contracted them to do a job and agreed on a price in advanced. That is the long a short of it.

standard rules apply 15%,what i normally do is ask around,freinds,neighbors.alot of this also depends on your well being and how generous you feel,i.e.the holiday season.always put yourself in their shoes and ask yourself "is this a job that i would want and how much would it be worth to me"
