I think that I might have turned off a guy who supposedly wanted a relationship with me. I think that I was too nice and wasn't being my true self. I think I avoided conflict by keeping my wants and desires to myself trying to accomodate him and his needs when I should have done the exact opposite. Now that I see where I've made my mistake, I'd like to know how to redeem myself.

Tell him what you just told us. Be direct with short sentences. Use decisive language and keep it light. Ask him if he'd care to have dinner with a woman who just found her way out of sugary niceness and back to reality. "Blame it on my mom." Then, state where you are going to take him and that this one is on you.

makeover! it's sounds like it's time for a makeover but not just your outside but your inside as well. when you look good, you feel good. once that's done, just think about what you really want in a guy.
