mult. and factor it out for me.. i need to see the steps on how to do it.

(x + 7)^2 means (x + 7)(x + 7)

This in turn means x(x +7) + 7(x+7)

So we have x^2 + 7x + 7x +49 = x^2 + 14x + 49.

In general (a + b)^2 = a^2 +2ab + b^2.

In other words, square the first term ad the square of the second term and the ad twice the product of the two terms.
