They can line both the upper and lower lid. I don't know how to advise you about tattoo, cosmetic parlours, or how long it takes to heal. But be careful abut how you have it done. Eye makeup fashion changes and changes back again. Perhaps(if you must have it done.) very thinly. You can always add a bit, but it's not possible to thin something out that's permanent. Just ask Tammy Faye.

I don't think you should do it just to same a few minutes every morning. Think about how it is going to look when you get old. It will be a mess. Plus you can never change looks because you will always have this makeup, no more natural look for you. If even after all these things you really want to do it, go for it, but I highly suggest thinking a lot about it first.

My stepmom had her eyebrows, eyeliner and her lips done .
It took a few visits to get it done, but she loves it. It's faded a little over time....(it's been about 4 yrs.) And she still uses eyeliner & lipstick. lol
Although I think it's a cool procedure....good luck!!

I'm a permanent make-up artist. what state are you in , i can tell you where to look, or look in the phone book. it depends on the procedure but it takes about 2 weeks to heal completely, but ive had clients go to the mall directly after the procedure.
As far as style and color my work is very natural looking. i wont do the wings on eyeliner ive had girls ask but i tell them that you the wing will be pointed down if you dont get face lifts forever ,. if you follow the natural lash line it will only enhance your beauty. as for messing up , the technician would have to be pretty darn negligent to mess up. i have a back up plan myself, i do tattoo removals. though ive never had to use it on my own work, its good to know!

I have some advice: don't do it. First of all, it's creepy, and kind of gross. Second, what if you don't want eyeliner at some point in your life? And one thing to keep in mind with surgery:
It can go wrong. I'll let your imagination continue with that one.

Don't do it .. think of this:
You can develop an allergy to the ink at any time in the future I've seen pics where a woman had her eyelids excised, gross!
Once it's there - it's there
As you age, the eyes droop, change, it would look pretty sad then
Don't do it.

The way make-up trends change every other year, why would you want permanent make-up? Think about what you will look like when the "natural" look makes its come-back, which as I recall was about the early to mid 80's. Which should be the next trend if history repeats itself. You will look dated and old-fashioned. And those whom I have seen with permanent eyeliner look clownish and downright goofy.

My cousin just went to a normal hair salon that offered makeup tattooing. She loves it, she never has to do that part of her makeup! She said it didn't really even hurt and didn't mention a healing time. The only downside I saw to it, is that after about a year or so you might have to go get it touched up because it tends to fade a teeny. Go for it! ;)

i thought about the same thing myself, but then i realized... what about style changes? the very way we put on eyeliner changes with every season without even realizing it. so, how is it going to look in 50 years? plus, what if they mess up. it would be so obvious. i will just freak out. so, i decided to go ahead and spend the rest of my life putting it on myself...
i am sure they can line whichever you want. i read somewhere that it takes roughly 2 weeks to heal mostly.
