Well, I enjoy Science Fiction/Fantasy mostly. Some of my favorites have been Enders Game by Orson Scott Card and those in the series, Sabriel by Garth Nix was very good as well as the other two in it's trilogy, New Moon by Midori Snyder, Dies The Fire by S.M. Sterling. And I've just started reading Eragon by Christopher Paolini which sounds like a good book.

I love a good book, too. My favorite is "The Education of Little Tree" which is funny and sad and informative. I also enjoy anything by James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell (if you've never read anything of hers, start with her very first novel. They go in sequence and her later books are not as good as the beginning), and Richard Patterson-North. These are all murder-mystery. The scariest book I've read is Steven King's "The Stand." I read the unabridged version when I had pneumonia and convinced myself that I had "Captain Tripps." I still have nightmares. Hope I have given you a few suggestions you haven't already read!!

Any book by the author "John Milton", or "John Steinbach", The plays by Tennessee Williams are great, as well as Somerset Maughm. A great screenplay written which was Nightmare Alley, and it became a movie, I cannot recall the book's title and I have been searching for the film as well but cant seem to find either it deals with mystery, magic, and mayhem. Chariots of the Gods is another book worth reading considering we are all Aliens.
