Lots of people do dumb things when they are young. I would not hesitate to call the licensing board for vets and point blank ask them. You don;t have to tell them your name: you can remain anonymous if you like. You can also talk to a lawyer and see if the felony can be expunged. Good luck to you.

well i every one looks at felony such as robbery soo bad. If you think you can make go for it! as a vet you can have your own office no one HAS to know. But when you are looking for a job and you have to explain what happen why it happen but tell the TRUTH. it was a mistake. you were young and dumb. If you had good reason i would hire you. I have hired some one just like you before and he was one of the best cooks i ever had. GO FOR IT. Prove people wrong. let them know you can do what ever you want if you believe in your self!

I think you should go for it. Everyone makes mistakes, and it is what you do afterward that speaks to your character. It will not be easy, for sure. No one is going to hand you a second chance; you will have to work for it. But when you do become a vet, people will focus more on your reputation as a doctor and will not be checking your criminal record.

Good luck.

um, i don't know the actual specifics, but my brother has your "same" background. he is currently finishing his last year of college, and just got early acceptance to UGA vet school, I don't know if that helps, but I do know it's possible! GL!!!
