Not a big fan normally of roller coaster but me and a bunch of friends are visiting IOA in Orlando next weekend and I am wondering which coaster I should ride first as a test, I rather take the last intense coaster on first and go from there. Thanks!

I love coasters. have been on Dueling Dragons and The Hulk, and if I were to put my mother on one, it would be The Hulk. The start of the Hulk is inside so you feel safer, and don't work yourself up as much (like you do on the ascend on Shei Kra), then the speed and smoothness of the Hulk is far superior making it a better coaster.

My brother doesn't like coasters, but he loved the Hulk. He went on it (with express pass) again and again and again. We both get motion sickness, but could ride that over and over, but would have to take a break after, say, two goes of Dueling Dragons.

Do not be put off by what it looks like, it looks worse than Dueling Dragons, which is why we did Dueling Dragons first. I cannot recommed this coaster highly enough.

By the way, Shei Kra isn't as bad as it is made out to be. The climb is petrifying, but if you sit in the back row, you can't see down when it hangs before the drop, so it makes it easier.

These are BOTH pretty intense, especially if you are not a fan of roller coasters!!

I will give you the same advice I gave to my son. (Prior to our 2004 trip, he didn't go on many rides at all, but I told him if he wanted to go to Disney & Universal, I wasn't paying the price of those tickets so he could walk around!) He has gone on every single ride on that trip and on the 2 following trips we have made. Here is the advice: If you are nervous about a ride, simply make certain that you are strapped in tightly, hold on, and close your eyes. It will be over in 60 seconds or less. Closing your eyes will also help if you are prone to motion sickness.

You will be fine. Have a lot of fun! And if you truly DON"T want to the roller coasters, sit them out, there are plenty of other rides!

The Hulk is intense and it knocks your head around alot. The red coaster at dueling dragons is very smooth and out of the three is my favorite.

I would have to say that both are pretty intense coasters, but as a fan and multiple rider of both, The Hulk is not quite as intense, but it's not far off.

I can respond to this question by comparing the two rides to either skydiving at 15,000 ft as opposed to skydiving at 13,000 ft.

The difference really only comes down to time in my opinion. The HULK is done faster.

Just keep in mind both are INTENSE!

the hulk is extra useful than dueling dragons. yet fairly it is not substantial because of the fact there is particularly any rides at nicely-known. you may attempt to flow to cedar factor and holiday the millennium tension, precise thrill, maverick, magnum, etc.

Go on the Hulk. Before you can scream, it will be over.
