No. A flag is a symbol, a thing. A person is a human being. Go stab yourself if you want to stab someone.

folks don't know crap anymore.
burning a flag was a constitutional right. of course you have to do it correctly depending on if you are retiring the flag or showing protest or expression.
when retiring a flag you must fold it properly then lay it in state.
when in expression it must be on the pole that is state represented... or with the eagle. and you start it with a torch and on the bottom edge where the strips end away from the pole side.
people who whine about flag burning are the ones who should be ashamed.. most of them i see misuse the flag.. they fly it in the rain, hang it improperly... they leave it up all year long.. they allow the flag to get weathered... it's a sign of shame there were regulations you know..
but oh no they can get away with that s.h.i.t. then they tell everyone how to properly use and address the flag.. yet they don't realize they're shaming the dam thing at the same time!
screw them!

Burning a flag does not harm anyone. Obviously stabbing does cause physical harm and pain!!! That's the difference!

Burning of a flag is disrespectful. There are other ways to protest. The government has the right to regulate this behavior.
