i went on the pill a month ago. i should have gotten my period in the last few days and nothing. im definitely not pregnant. does anyone know if this is normal or if i should go to the doctor?

Everybody is going to react differently.. some women don't get their periods while others may only spot. It takes about 3 months or so for your body to adjust.

No, nothing unusual. In fact, you may find you have less of a period than you did before, maybe only 2-3 days and lighter. You see the pill tricks the body into thinking that it's pregnant and if it 's pregnant it can't get pregnant....no period when you're pregnant. just stop the hormone a few days to sluff off that lining. You should have it soon. just follow with the program and don't worry unless you don't get one next month.

It occasionally happens. If you really want your period, just stop taking yourpills for a few days, although I don't know why you would.. Are you sure you've gone 21 days since starting the pills?

It is normal. taking the pill changes your hormonal cycle alot. Not getting your period as your body adjusts to the new hormonal cycle is all right. You will probably notice that your future periods will also be lighter and shorter. Enjoy...

this is normal. your body is going through chnges with the hormone. sometimes you wont get one at all depending on qhat pill you are on. perhaps you are on too strong of. just make a reg appt and consult your physician. nothing to worry about though.
