It will never be perfect... you must lightly sand and polish the rims. You may want to bring this to a detail shop.

All of the answers are very good ... chrome is added to bare and clean metal and the sidewalk took it off, so you are back at the bare metal of your precious rim... re-chrome means back to a bumper chroming shop... $$$$ . there are not magic
creams or rubbing compound that will bring that shine chrome back. end of the story. sorry.

I don't think you can ever make the chrome wheels look like new again. You may have to get them re-chromed. Good luck. Pops

it would be extra fee-effective to seek for any new rims at a interior sight tire shop. i might locate some chrome colour paint and only paint over the scratch, yet i'm low-fee and are not getting to enthusiastic with regard to the visual charm of my vehicle that lots.

unless you send them down to the chrome wheel factory
