Does anybody ever wonder why all Democrats in Washington are sooooo rich, and why all of them are white, and why they are working so hard to take all our money in taxes in order to make sure they are the ones in charge of it as if you have no education, are ignorant, and cannot possibly manage money on your own?

To the question "have my taxes gone down?" Yes, you better believe they have, and I'm not rich. To the comment regarding "the rich 1%" you are obviously not educated in federal taxation. Federal tax cuts target the wage earner, rich people do not work for others and therefore are not able to take such tax cuts. Get a college federal taxation book and figure out how this country works before some socialist dem makes your mind up for you like the ignorant person HE believes you are.

Some people need to check the public financial records of their representatives before answering questions. If they did, they would find out that far more democrats, DEMOCRATS, come to Washington multi-millionaires to serve the "common man" than republicans. Is this why the democrats believe they are more connected with the common man than the republicans. More republicans make their money from honest hard work than dems. Sounds more like a common man to me.

OK first , there are alot of non-white Dems in Washington so you clearly have no clue of what you are speaking. ... As for being rich, well unfortunately that is necessary to run for office in this country. Ads cost a great deal of money, etc.
Taxes are a necessary evil in our system. Dems would prefer to take the money raised and put it into improving our education and health care systems. Repubs prefer to build bombs and kill people.
Have you realized that when Bush was sworn into office the budget deficit was $0. It is now in the trillions. Repubs spend money like it is going out of style.

Since Bush has been president, has your taxes gone down? I think not. Oh that is right, I forgot about those rebates, the richest one percent must love that, but what about everyone else. The average taxpayer receives an average of 300 dollars. That is a huge help to those that make minimum wage.
Democrats in office might be wealthy, but at least they are trying to spread the wealth where it is needed most, Bush IS giving it to the wealthy, they need a new set of golf clubs!
Remember taxes haven't gone down since Bush has taken office, and as far as he is concerned they never will. WAR costs!

And the republicans are not? Reread who gets the tax cuts and who does not. Have you ever seen the shell game played. Have you ever seen a single puppeteer put on a punch and Judy show. Do you ever get tired of being conned by everybody in politics. Understand that all these people go to the same Society functions once they retire.

What a bogus statement. Get real, you just described the republicans in Washington. Have you ever seen any poor or not so rich person get nominated for office on either side? Let's face it, we've let them make the laws where you have to have money to even run for office, which gives us very limited choices on either side.
