I find difficult to ignore a person over the telephone (cell); i feel like i am cought. Its been so irritating when i dont like the person but continue talking over the phone. People knows i dont like them but try to waste my time.

Don't answer the phone...........How hard is that? If you don't want to talk, hit the "ignore" button on the cell phone.

omg - i was just gonna ask a question kinda along the same lines.
this guy has been calling me - he got my number "off a friend of a friend" or whateva. Ive told him *im not gonna meet up with him *i dont want a boyfriend *and he has absolutely no chance!
but he still keeps calling - aaaarrrgh
maybe we should just be nice and keep talking to these people who do this to us and let them think they have a chance!
or next time they call, just get a member of the opposite sex to answer and tell them where to go!

If I don't feel like talking to some one I tell that my battery is dying so er might get cut off and let them get a few more words in and then I just turn the thing off. Don't give your number to someone you don't care to talk to. Check first to see who is calling you and don't pick up. Hopefully after a few Times they will give up calling you any more.

Use your call ID, that's what it's for. If they leave a message, call them back when you feel like it but tell them you only have a minute to talk because you have an appt. or something. If they don't leave a message, don't call back. Life is too short to waste your time.

i dont think they are wastin your time just cause they know you dont like them apparently you like talking to them or you would have done put a stop to them calling and getting on your nerves thats the only way if you dont like someone just tell them to stop calling or change your number or dont answer....

It's called blocking their number. Call your phone carrier give them the number and walah NO MORE CALLS.

You can screen your calls. Or you can answer them, but act, convincingly, as if you're not the person they're calling, even if you are.
