the zodiac is of twelve elemental signs, 3 fire, 3 earth, 3 air, 3 water. they always follow one another: fire, earth, air, water, and so on. taurus is an earth sign. earth and water are natural compliments. earth and earth are good too, and so are water and water. the earth has to have water to make it bearable for life; water must find its level. you are the hard-driven, stubborn, loyal, hard-working earth sign, very, very loyal to your family. a good match for your sexual strength and interests is the zodiac's most "sexy" sign, scorpio (water)--but they are very secretive. if you like a practical person, well centered, virgo is good for you (earth). virgos are usually the most financially sucessful zodiac signs: bill gates is a virgo. else, you may enjoy the company of the tender-hearted, very sensitive and kind pisces (water). capricorns (earth) are relatively compatible with you and they are usually the best at business compared with you, might even by your rival.

leos are similar to you in their loyalty and generous nature. they too are "family" types, loyal to the people that they love, and they, like you, tend to pamper their children. but leos and tauruses can clash too, because a leo is arrogant in that they believe that they are always right--and so do tauruses, very, very stubbornly. it is the stubbornness that drives leos nuts, be we are good with you too.

i do not agree that gemini is a natural match for a taurus, but they can get on okay.

then there are the fire and air signs: air needs fire to warm it, and fire has to have air to exist. again, usually, best matches for these types are fire to air, fire to fire, and air to air (especially the amazing cerebral attraction between gemini and libra)! it's true that air signs are cerebral. one of them in aquarius: usually the most liberal and far thinking of all of the air signs, and rebellious no matter what "the times" say they should think like, should "be." Abe Lincoln is a famous aquarian. they usually are very radical thinkers. but gemini and libra just talk and talk and talk to one another, a very natural flow. however, i, a fire sign, find that my compliment, air, is my better match than is fire.

if you look at the zodiac, or figure your sign plus six months, you find your opposite. the opposite of leo, for example, is aquarius. we get along famously...opposites attract. you may look into that.

as for your opposites, they would tend to generally be: aries, leo, sagitarrius (all fire) and gemini, libra and aqurius (all air).

cancer, a fire sign, usually is best with another cancer. they are the only sign that understands one another's similarities the best. but a cancer can be all right for you, because that is a water sign.

fire: action
earth: work, practicality
air: thinking
water: emotion

I think in my own experience it is another Taurus or Capricorn the best, Libra or a Gemini next best!

The subject of this board is astronomy NOT astrology. Astronomy is a science, astrology is not.

Regarding your relationships, try working on who you are and how you relate to other people, and stop trying to pass off the responsibility to some superstitious force that somehow determines your fate.

Dude, astrology is based on the idea that stars 40,000 light years away can affect you.... I mean come on....

I know a guy born on the same day as me and in the same hospital, we are completely different.
