The sanctions will be economic in nature and have very little effect on the leadership of the DPRK. The Japanese have imposed a travel ban into Japan by any North Korean. the UN has imposed some measures, but they will have no effect. the reality is that China and Russia are reluctant to do what is needed to create safety in the region. The Murderous Kim Jong Il needs to be removed from power and the North Koreans educated to understand that he is not GOD.

Sanctions are punishments to companies that are not good Republicans. In a flat world they do not work well. They are most likely variations of ones used on Pakistan, Egypt India and Israel..Oops none were imposed on Israel.

Sanctions are the restriction of products or produce, or monies given to aide another country. Korea would pretty much starve to death without the aide given them from other countries. I'm sure the majority of which are from the U.S.

sanctions are restrictions...a punishment so to speak,

If memory serves me correct , an embargo will be implemented,
which will prohibit commerce and trade with North Korea.
Food and Medical items will be allowed in --but luxury items will not. It is usually an attempt to isolate a country by a group of countries --in order to pressure that country to "get with the program".

*BRAVO stormin !
