The Religious Right has had it with the Republican party and the games some of them play. There will be repercussions.

I am a Christian Conservative who votes Republican most of the time and I, oddly enough, agree with you. It appalls me to see Christians equating Republicanism with Christianity and automatically accepting the Repubilcan positions with thinking through the issues. They are kept in check by stupid issues such as the Marriage Ammendment piece of crap legislation and similar legislation.
While on this topic let me ask Christians- of which I am one- who tend to vote Republican- which I do- Why is so important to you to keep Gays and Lesbians from marrying? It has no effect on your freedom to practice marriage or your faith the way you do. It really ticks me off to hear phrases like 'the attack on marriage'. If my pastor married two homosexuals I would be upset but we do not live in a theocracy. If you want to vote republican - go ahead but vote thoughtfully and dont be a tool.
Great Question

My goodness! This is the exact same question that I ask of Democrats. Of course my question is always:
Do the Democrats realize that those they have in power are the rich elite who want to convert America into a socialist country and give out money to all in the amounts that they feel you deserve (which wouldn't be much) and watch you toil and work all day while they themselves sit on the plantation porch drinking a mint julep and living off of a Heinz fortune?
Does anybody ever wonder why all Democrats in Washington are sooooo rich, and why all of them are white, and why they are working so hard to take all our money in taxes in order to make sure they are the ones in charge of it as if you have no education and cannot possibly manage money on your own?
Do you really want to beg your democratic congressman for a handout??

Actually, the question should be, "do Democrats know that
they are being used by the Liberals and Socialists"? Well,
they are. So, do you think there are no Christians in the
Democrat party? What a shame. True Christians are the
good guys and always have been.

They don't have a clue or they wouldn't have voted not once but twice for a coke snorting, alcoholic with no morals. Those that still support him and put God behind his name are the really sick ones.
