Probably wouldn't even get it out the stable. It would probably ask for more and try to have a party.

What Gallop said. Since they should have fresh water in front of them at all times, how would you know if they had just had a drink or not? When I bring mine into the stall (from pasture) for saddling, if they were to suddenly dive for the water bucket and drink, I'd figure that I had more to worry about than whether I could ride or not. Like what was wrong with the pasture water. By the time I had figured that out, any big gulps they had taken would have washed through their system anyway.

Well, besides a drunk horse, it would probebly load into to gate easy, but be asleep before the bell.

Not a good idea. He might get hurt, hurt the rider, or go berserk, and jump off the track into the grand stands.

Hilarious results... I wonder would the horse be able to race or would they site it with a OWI

One very big animal loping around the track, trying to find the aspirin bottle.
Other than that, I think the horse would be disoriented, have to urinate frequently, and get sick. Why would you do that?
