Reading a few chapters of the New Testament...and prayer. This always helps me.

I have a couple of suggestions:
1. Listen to soft music and just close your eyes and try to relax.
2. Read a book or magazine till ur tired
3. Drink some warm milk, warm apple cider, chamomile (natural herb tea, which is very good to help you sleep), or any other kind of warm drik.
4. Work out or do something that will keep you active and make you tire afterwards.
5. If nothing of the above works, drink some Nyquil, lol, yeah i know its only for colds but its very good for when you cant go to sleep.
Hope that helps

I get that way too sometimes...so tired I can't sleep.
To help me relax, I read a little, if I don't have a good book, I watch something really boring -- like QVC, but if I feel an irresistable urge to buy something, I go downstairs and drink a small glass of milk with two cookies. After that, I pray until I fall asleep.
Good luck.

Have a cup of hot Chamomile Tea or any other herbal tea with no caffeine..Try reading a magazine...Play some relaxing music in the back ground.... For sure that will makes me get sleepy.
Don't have any caffeine late in the day since it will kick in later in the evening when you want to go to sleep instead.

No not at all. I get that way when I am really tired and need sleep. I have a hard time sleeping long time also.
What helps me is not eating after 7 pm and get to sleep the first time I feel tired.

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.

I guess you could try the old stand by of warm milk. Try to read in bed I find that helps me unwind and calms me down enough so that I can actually get to sleep.

That happens to me all the time. I usually just make a playlist of songs that help me calm down and set it to repeat. I sleep like a baby now :)
