Be specific when u were about to shoot a question. What is People? Who is people? If you were in a poor country like Africa. They wouldnt spend so much money to simply a moose or a seagull.
The specific answer to your question is very simple.. Its Competition among your surroundings. This could answer the whole reasons of the Whys.

The reasonable normal person would buy it for the quality. Other people want to be defined by "things". To be known or classified by their status--when you see logos that celebrities wear casually, others like the common label wearing wanna be's hafta have what celebs advertise. They think others see them and feel they are wealthy or not financially struggling, when they really are. Don't keep up with the Jones', be yourself and let the Jones' keep up with you! Who cares a/b a moose or seagull, what if that signified poverty--would it matter as much then?

Depending on who you asked. Some wear the clothes for the brand some likes the quality of the clothes. No everyone spend that much. Some may wait for sale to purchase items. Everyone is different. For me I preferred not to wear something that advertise that store across my chest. They outta paid me for me to wear those advertise shirt.

I don't know but those symbols get on my nerves. Sometimes I just want a shirt b/c it's comfortable and cute but don't want some animal on it. I think high schoolers do it to look cool so their friends think they shop at "cool" stores.
