It's a coin toss. On one side, unfortunately, whenever a gay does something "wrong" it can affect how we are thought about. On the other side, I wish that it wouldn't ... sort of how every time I hear about a wife being beaten or a child molestation, I don't damn the entire hetero community.

They dont affect me and they dont bother me. I believe everyone has a right to be what they want to be and I can appreciate the good qualities in everyone. Granted there are many on yahoo who have not displayed any good qualities yet. But most of the gays I have met do nothing to give their fellow homosexuals a "bad name".

I am a hetero female-but I have two cents-
I have compassion for the peoplewho live thier lives with respect,and compassion for the ones who do not,just like there is white trash,black trash,and yellows and browns,and reds,and maybe even purple,and fat and skinny,and gay,and bi and straight
it doesn't really matter,everyone has members of thier 'whatever' that are embarressing,rude,racist,dorky......
they probably feel exactly like you do when a member of your race acts like a total ***** up.
i wish everyone was just ....PEOPLE
and i wish my skin was violet colored and I had a soft-blue mate of the female persuasion-and our children were all the hues of pink
I wish people wouldn't ask questions that make other people sad.......

It's rotten because you try to live an open honest life. There are people who are always to scared or worried about what others think about them. They give the rest of us a bad name.
