Stuck intake valve. (open)

Or, wrong gap on the spark plug....realy...

Take the spark plug out, stick your finger in the hole and turn the engine.
Your finger should pop out with some force.
Spray some lube on the valve stem through the spark plug hole and try to push it closed with a screw driver with the engine at TDC (top dead center) compression stroke.

Check your intake valve like stated in another answer. Sounds more like it is out of time. Check the distributor to adjust timing, sounds like it may be to advanced. Since you have cleaned the carb. make sure your fuel settings are not advancing to much fuel. I would start with the timing and go from there. You can make it run by ear to get started, but someone needs to check timing out officially.
