David and Mary, the coalminer and wife from Kentucky, arrived in last place, but it was a non-elimination leg.
On the next leg of the race, if they don't come in 1st place, they get a 30-minute penalty, in which they COULD get eliminated if all the rest of the teams arrive during that interval.

nobody. The coalminer and his wife(forgot names) were last. They have to be first to the next pitstop or they will have a 30 minute penalty, but they got to keep their stuff
