This is the reason why there is such an "insurgency" in Iraq. US policymakers and advisors had NO clue about Iraq's culture, social and religious makeup. They had NO understanding at all and thought the US could just go in and impose its form of government on a people whose mindset was totally opposite. As a result, the entire US effort is founded on quicksand and doomed to failure. Even so, Bush in his blind pig-headedness keeps saying that the war, which according to him ended a couple of years ago, is going well, even though anyone with half a brain can see it is going to hell in a handbasket.

George Bush has no understanding at all and keeps repeating the same lame, irrrelevant pro-Zionist slogans over and over even though it is becoming clearer to anyone who looks that he is dead wrong about everything.

You bet it is true. It is truer than you could ever imagine even in your worst nightmare.

The only hope that the US possibly has is after the November election when Bush is finally out and a new President takes over, hopefully with an agenda to end the stupidity and nonsense in Iraq.

Yes, Bush is not to bright
BTW there are 7 sects of Islam not just Sunni and Shite
If you think there are differences between Methodists, pentacostals and Catholics, just look at Islam
AND
every sect is larger than all of Christianity!

Maybe he was joking with his usual folksy charm. Remember all that talk in the run up to the two thousand election about who you would rather share a beer with at a barbeque?

To say that he is weak intellectually is putting it mildly. See for yourself:

So what. Islam is nothing but a bunch of terrorists and sympathisers. I never hear any muslims speak out against terrorists.
