It's nice...and there are things you can do there...plus I suspect it won't be too crowded. But it'll be too cold to do anything beach-related.

I don't think you'll have to worry about it that much. Since you have been there 9 times, (me 6) you probably know a Restaurant on Ocean Boulevard called Cadillac something. Easy to spot b/c there are not many restaurants on Ocean. It is actually north of that Gilligan's bar. Anyhow, inside that place there's a pic taken in front of the restaurant taken one year on Christmas Day I think it said...covered in snow, but the locals say that by 10 or so all of it was gone.

It's a smart move to take a jacket with you, but leave the mittens and fuzzy hat at home.

I agree with the first poster, it might be 60 to 75 or 30 to 45. The Ocean water temp will be chilly. On the plus side, you would be on vacation there during the off season so you don't have to deal with all the traffic and such, plus discounts for those operations that stay open year round, are really good.

Speaking of your Husband, the Golf is great there in Dec. The surf and pier fishing operations are also very good.

I would say go for it.

Where do you live? I believe there would be better places to spend your money. Only because I don't think it would be warm enough. Too much of a chance for cold weather.

I used to be an ocean lifeguard there in North MB. Its a gamble to be honest. You could go and it might be sunny and in the 60s. You could go and it might snow. Not quite as safe as a bet as Florida. Sorry, trying to keep it real.
