They have a reputation of being unpredictable and vicious. They are large dogs and intimidating as well. They can be trained to be quite vicious as well. They have the reputation now that Dobermans held a while back.

Many people aren't familiar with the ones that are raised well. These can be excellent companions.

Because some homeowner insurance won't cover you if you own a certain breed of dog. For some reason rottweilers fall into that category. It's just a common misconception that they are aggressive animals. It's not true though, if anything they are just huge babies.

I have not heard about that, ny niehbor just had 7 pups!
I do know that there are a lot of places that don't allow certian breeds because of size, or agressive tendancies.

I would allow a rottie in my home!!!They're just scared of 'em. like they're scared of pit bulls, boxers, dobies, ect that have a "bad" rep.
