I think most people would say, without a doubt, it's Albert Pujols. He's a first baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals, is a great hitter, great defender, great leader and so much more. No doubt at all.

Albert finished 6th in the MLB in Average.
Albert finished 3rd in the MLB in Homeruns, despite being injured.
Albert finished T-2nd in the MLB in RBI.
Albert only had 55 Ks
Albert finished 9th in the MLB in Runs.

I would have to say Albert Pujols is the best player. Albert Pujols is the only player in MLB history to bat over .300 with 30+ home runs, 100+ RBI, and 100+ runs scored in each of his first 5 Major League Baseball seasons. He also reached the 1,000-hit, 200-home run plateau faster than any Major League player in history.
