Federal Republic. (They are also a democracy. Democracy does not mean you vote on EVERY issue, it simply means the people elects the representatives).

a democracy is actually where the people vote on every issue.. a republic is where you elect someone to represent you or your region, and they can vote.but you can elect them. :)
