My dad asked my mom to marry him the first day they met, that was in 1947. She passed away 40 years later, and there was still lots of love there. My husband was a little slower, we talked about it after a month of dating, got my ring at 3 months, and we have been married 27 years. My sis and her hubby, same thing, and they have been married 35 years. So, we do believe in love at first sight. Mom and Dad showed us it happens. And it does last.

Love at first sight? Well.....yes it is a myth, but then again, maybe not. I think that sometimes you meet someone for the first time and there is a "knowing" (hard to define) that this person will be very important in your life. I have definitely felt that "knowing" once or twice. But so far, it hasn't stuck. So yeah, maybe. But the true test is: Will it last?

Yes I believe in it. But what actually happened to me was sort of a LOVE AT FIRST SOUND. I first met my boyfriend by phone. And now we are gonna get married. In the game of love everything can happen.

I was working at a store in the mall and I saw her across the hall in her store. I actually felt a tingle! We've been married for 18 years and have a 15 year old daughter. I'm a believer!

To a certain point. For instance, I am a total sucker for soul mates and I believe that you can notice them more like something is different about them. But if you think about love at first sight, it tends to be on shallow terms. Its more likely to see a beautiful attractive person and be interested rather to see a over weight dorky person.

I think so. I knew my husband online and over the phone for months before we looked each other in the face.
When we finally met, I took one look at him and my heart stopped for a second. My breath caught. And I did something I've never done with anyone else in my life. I kissed him.
I knew I loved him at that moment and that he was "the one". There are no words to describe it. It was like lightning struck. He still makes my heart stop to look at him and it's been years.

Anyone who says it's a myth is not romantic, and has never been "shot by cupid"... For myself, I believe in love with all it's kinds and point of views. Love at first sight is not a myth, it's a living thing amongst us. Bare in mind that "love is blind, and driven by madness"

I believe it's more like lust at first sight. Because you fall in love with someone looks before you get to know them.
