The drive only used for one year (Lite-On 16xx), any chance it is malfunction?

Go to the device manager and tic on "DVD/CD-ROM Drives", right tic on the offending drive and select "uninstall", then restart the computer. This reloads the drivers. They may have become corrupt.

because it's probably just that...a dvdrw
not a combination cd/dvdrw
